FAQs

  • Microblading, also known as eyebrow feathering, is a highly specialized technique that uses a handheld tool and color pigment to create hair-like strokes just beneath the surface of the skin. This meticulous process involves the use of tiny, sterile, and disposable needles to mimic the natural appearance of brow hairs with precision and artistry. *Microblading may not be the best option if you have an oily skin type with large pores.

  • Combination brows combine the artistry of microblading and powder shading to create the perfect balance of natural and defined brows. Hair-like strokes are carefully crafted in the front of the brow for a realistic, feathered effect, transitioning seamlessly into a soft, powdery finish for the rest of the brow. This technique provides a polished yet natural appearance that complements all skin types and preferences. Click here to learn more about Combination Brows!

    • Wake up with naturally beautiful, full, and symmetrical eyebrows every day

    • Sweat and waterproof makeup solution

    • Semi-permanent design that can be adjusted over time

    • Fills in scars and sparse areas

    • Saves time and reduces the daily hassle of drawing in eyebrows

  • Pain tolerance varies by person. Topical numbing is applied during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. However, you may experience extra sensitivity if the procedure is done during or near your menstrual cycle.

  • Your first session lasts around 3 hours. This includes a consultation, numbing, and pre-drawing your desired brow shape. The initial touch-up session is usually about half the time of your first appointment.

  • Results can last up to 1-3+ years depending on factors like skin type, lifestyle and after-care. Most clients opt for a yearly touch-up to boost color and refine the shape. If more than 75% of your pigment has disappeared, a full-priced session may be required.

  • That depends on the color and density of your existing permanent makeup. To determine your eligibility, please email a clear picture of your brows (without makeup) to info@BrowZingLA.com.

  • Immediately after the procedure, you may notice minimal swelling and tenderness, which generally subsides within a few hours though it can last a few days. In the first week, the pigment may appear darker than its final healed shade. Complete healing typically takes between 10-14 days. During this time, your brows might be bolder, darker, or scab, so plan any special occasions accordingly.
